Yummmmmm

This is the most delicious assignment I’ve had in a little while…I did not sample them all; however I did sit down at The Orangery for this very tasty treat you see first…I believe the Smoked Salmon was cooked to perfection with the slightest crunch at the end with a lemon flavor that lingered for just a couple of seconds with each bite. The poached egg was cooked to perfection as well with a creamy white and mellow yoke to ooze over the English Muffins.

Aunt Mahalia’s Candies

These are all photos that are being used for Aunt Mahalia’s Candies located in Gatlinburg, TN. I was hired as the commercial food photographer as a freelance photographer under contract through Michael Richards Design Company located in Knoxville, Tennessee. This assignment took the better part of two days to photograph hence fourth the post editing took  about one week with the end result accumulating to the current updated website for Aunt Mahalia’s Candies. I believe the food photography is a very natural part of what I enjoy doing with the gift that God has given to me through the beauty of art and 21 years working as a professional photographer. A lot of what I do is artistic and fun; however the meat and potatoes of making a living as a freelance photographer is simply being able to work with clients in a manner that is enjoyable as well as professional. Please feel free to contact me with your next photo assignment no matter how big or small…

Washington DC…”self guided tour.”

This is Washington DC seen by me with just a little over an hour to spend while not on the job from last year’s assignment on “the hill.” Hope you enjoy…I was really feeling the pace of DC, life’s fleeting  hour glass ticking, and the reality of catching my flight home.

Sushi you may enjoy in Knoxville, Tennessee….;0

I shot sushi rolls in five different restaurants all in one day earlier this week for the upcoming publication of Yummmm in Knoxville, Tennessee. Food photography is without a doubt one of my finer and most interesting subjects that I photograph in Knoxville and in traveling as a commercial photographer throughout the United States and soon the world. Hope you enjoy sushi!

Downtown Knoxville, Tennessee…Photographfee

I have been working as a Freelance Journalist since 1998 in Knoxville after spending eight years working at the Gulf of Mexico off and on as a beach photographer..I have been capturing Knoxville’s downtown on film and now digitally ever since and have watched the revitalization first hand. These are ten images taken in downtown Knoxville, TN for a magazine to be released in 2013 called KnowKnoxville. This is also the second year in a row working for this annual publication. Justin Fee
